The Tsinghua University Wudaokou School of Finance was officially established on March 29, 2012, through a collaboration between the People's Bank of China and Tsinghua University, built upon the foundation of the Graduate School of the People's Bank of China.
The school combines the century-old academic traditions of Tsinghua University with the excellent legacy of Wudaokou and the financial industry. Its mission is "to cultivate financial leaders, guide financial practices, contribute to national rejuvenation, and promote world harmony." The school draws on international best practices in financial disciplines and business school higher education models to create a leading domestic and world-class financial education platform, as well as a platform for financial academic and policy research.
