SIA, Singapore, May 17 (Xu Guang Wu Yuci) On the 16th, Zhou Haiming, deputy commander of the South China Sea Fleet, led a Chinese naval delegation to attend the opening ceremony of the 2017 Asian International Maritime Defence Exhibition at the Changi Convention and Exhibition Center in Singapore. At 10 o'clock in the morning, the opening ceremony officially began. Singapore’s Defense Minister Huang Yonghong and other new party officials and the naval delegations of China, the United States, and Russia attended the opening ceremony. The Chinese naval delegation has visited a number of world-renowned ship and equipment manufacturers, and inquired in detail about the design concept, main performance and application prospects of various high-performance exhibits such as ships, submarines and unmanned aerial vehicles. The international conference company is well-known in the Zhuhai boat industry manufacturing cluster exhibition area, and the remarkable achievements made by China Manufacturing in thinking innovation and process innovation have been unanimously affirmed by the exhibitors.

In the afternoon, the Chinese naval delegation also participated in the 5th International Maritime Safety Conference.

It is reported that the defense exhibition coincides with the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Singapore Navy. There are 89 military product manufacturers participating in the international conference. Forty-six ships from 21 countries including China, the United States, Pakistan and Singapore participated in the Defence Show Ship Open Day. The Huangshan Ship represented the Chinese Navy and the navies of various countries to actively carry out military and cultural exchanges.
