The forum was held in response to the e-commerce theme in the joint communiqué of the “Belt and Road” International Cooperation Summit held in Beijing not long ago. Nearly 50 Chinese business representatives from e-commerce companies attended the forum to discuss the current status and trends of the China-Australia e-commerce industry. They expressed their willingness to participate in the development of the “Road and Belt” initiative and rely on the “Internet + Business” innovation model to explore cross-border development between China and Australia. E-commerce develops a new path, exchanges and cooperation with Australian e-commerce platforms, shopping malls, service providers and traditional enterprises, establishes a cross-border e-commerce community, and builds an open Sino-Australian “Internet + Business” innovation collaboration and sharing platform.

During the day's activities, the International Conference Company Australia-China Business Summit also signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Jointly Promoting China-Australia Information Collaboration and SME Service System Construction with the Shanghai E-Commerce Promotion Center.
